About The Event

A full 5 days of guided and themed workshops, and free-practice time in Marc's beautiful garden space.

Over the course of the week, Marc will be sharing with you the distilled secrets of his 20 years of experience of the fundamental practices of yoga.

The morning workshops will be guided to give you a direct embodied understanding of the day's theme.

The afternoons will be for you to do as you please. You can explore your personal practice, perhaps applying what you have picked up from the morning session to see for yourself how it works in practice. Or of course you can just rest and enjoy the garden space any way you like.

Marc will also be there practicing/relaxing with you in the garden, and will be available for any questions that come up for you, and will be happy to offer explanations and/or hands-on help. These 121 moments could be just for you, or if it feels appropriate for you, the answer to your question may well be something that other people practicing in the space are interested in exploring for themselves.

Morning themed workshops: 10:30am-1:00pm

Day1: Learning to let go ~ Deep Acquaviva restorative practice. Marc's approach to restorative yoga is unique, and extremely effective for joint and spinal health. (Appropriate for anyone, including those with joint/spinal issues)

Day2: Making Space - investigating ways of engaging with our Earth and the space we occupy. Marc offers a life-changing approach to posture work that empowers the individual to find their own solutions to any physical restriction. (Suitable for any yoga enthusiast looking for a broader perspective, whole-body solutions or just more juice from their practice)

Day3: Awakening the Spine - bringing movement and support back to the centre of your being. This third workshop is a total game-changer that offers a brand new perspective on how the body can find ease and spaciousness in strength and support. (Suitable for any yoga enthusiast looking `for a brand new experience, it is also a go-to direct solution for most of the body's periferal postural issues )

Day 4: Pranayama & Posture part1 ~ finding your flow. The day will begin with some Kriya practices (cleansing breathing practices) that offer a direct way of creating the right conditions for the body to release into movement and support, accompanied by the release of the breath. Marc will guide you through one of his own sequences that are designed to help naturalise and integrate the week so far. Then the afternoon you will have an opportunity to apply it for yourself to whatever you like to do. (Suitable for anyone that has done any of the first 3 days, or if you are already familiar with Marc's work)

Day 5: Pranayama & Posture part2 ~ natural integration of breath with physical practice... Freedom of choice in the breath holds the key to all posture work. Pranayama is generally considered an 'advanced' practice because 'doing breathing' is quite an unnatural thing to do. Marc offers some clarity about the natural source of some of the more effective breathing practices, and will guide you towards how you can use this understanding to set yourself up for a true release into 'the yoga'. (Suitable for anyone that has done any of the first 3 days, or of course if you are already familiar with Marc's work)

Days 1-5: Afternoon open-practice/Q&A sessions: 2:30pm-5:00pm

For your lunch, Abigail offers gorgeous daily home-made soups with salad and locally baked bread for just £5/day, these need to be pre-booked so that she knows how much soup to make each day - you can book lunch along with your workshop bookings. Alternatively you can bring your own packed lunch, or go off to the local park cafe, or the beach - just as you please. Teas are available all day free (help yourself) and there is a coffee machine for espresso lovers (Marc will show you how to use it).

Cost: £55/day or £247 for all 5 days.
