What to expect:

On this Course I will be guiding a small group of people  through a week-by-week structured  exploration of how the quality of our own contact through touch and our physical relationship to the space we occupy  influences the body's innate responses.  I will be sharing with you my enviro-somatic understanding of the various 'styles' of touch together with the nature of the intent behind them, as well as how through the breath and its release can guide us into an 'unretracted' relationship to space... The two working together in harmony leads to the potential of LETTING GO into movement and more radically, into released uprightness...  Commonly talked about within 'Scaravelli-inspired' circles as 'The Wave'.

The outcome of this practice is paradigm-shifting and can potentially lead to instantaneous releases from long-held complications in the body and spine as you discovers new degrees of uprecedented and natural support.

Loving touch can make us soften, and feeling safe in the space we occupy allows to let go into it, aggressive contact will make us react and contract, and an unsafe environment will make us retract from space and hold ourselves together...

What is missed in body-work is that the way that we engage with contact  and the space we occupy  is actually the determining factor  in terms of the outcome for our bodies and our personal experience of being .that is the bio-feedback of our somatic experience.

Over this course we will be delving deep into the nature of the body's natural responses to our relationships to both the earth beneath and world around us,  to guide you towards a paradigm-shifting experience of what can happen when we can find the natural wave of fluid support that follows Enviro-Somatic integration

You  will build an invaluable resource for your own practice, based on the understanding that  what we are experiencing through our bodies is a direct result of the quality of our own relationships to the world we live in together with  the intent behind our actions.
