The Sacred Breath II

Foundation workshop 2:

The Breathing Skies ~ Your choices in breathing and  support from above.

Through my life-time of exploration of 'what works' in my yoga practice, I have come to the unwavering understanding that the source of all complications AND solutions in our bodies, resides in the breath.

The way we breathe has  various choices available, which we all adopt in different degrees, and the balance of these choices that we settle on as our 'normal' way of breathing, leads both to our 'posture' and to the range of freedoms that we experience in our movement.

Expanding  all options, by relating them to their natural actions,  brings natural range of choice.  An equality of choice, leads to a true  physically and mentally/emotionally centred experience that I call 'Yoga'

Each of these foundation workshops will be geared to helping you find the naturally occuring breathing responses that can offer both support from our surroundings (enviro-somatic integration), and a re-calibration of our internal relationships to open our minds and bodies up to the vast potential for self-healing available to each of us - simply because we can breathe....

Workshops will run on successive Sundays from September 19th 2021,  10:00am -1:30pm (content). And I am quite happy to stay online until 2:30pm  for a  Q & A session after practice.  So if you have your lunch ready and you want to stay on topic, feel free to stay online for questions and debate on the subject experienced during the morning (obviously optional).

You can book each day individually, or you can book the full foundation as a course for a reduced price.  Course attendees will have access to a dedicated part of my website that hosts the course as an on-demand learning set up.  Others may request download links for the relevant workshop(s).

Anyone that completes the 6 foundation workshops (either in person or via on-demand learning) may join me for my up and coming Sacred Breath II full CPD Course. (Dates tbc)  This course will be a select few - I will restrict it to 8 people working with me directly on screen (no view-only places)  so that I can guide each person towards the precision that leads to the direct experience that you might recognise as the 'secrets of yoga'.

My workshops are informal, informative and whatever the content, I try to make sure that I accommodate the specific needs of participants, so that value of the work can be directly experienced by anyone that attends.

As usual, this workshop will involve an intensity of personal involvement and engagement, and by the time we finish your body will be thanking you...

I have been teaching groups of people online and live for over 10 years now, and I have always been surprised at how much I can actually pick up through the screen.  A live and interactive place on these workshops means I can respond directly to your questions and your practice, and with the live places limited to just 12, I will be able to see everyone clearly enough on my large screen to be able to pick up on what is needed just as if it was a workshop in a studio.  You also get the view of my lovely garden, so you get a 'retreat' feel from being with me as I guide you through your pratice.

NB.  if you are unable to book a live and interactive place it means these places have sold out, but you can always choose a 'view-only' place - you can still be there for the live event and you still get access to the recording - all for half price.  (You must take full responsibility for your own body if you do this though, as I won't be able to monitor what is going on for you ).
